Our Philosophy
I Blossom Child Care is an environment created to reinforce the children’s independence and
support their development while stimulating. Children will learn through play, discovery, and
creativity. Within the classroom, the curriculum areas reflect not only the interest area, but also
their connections to all the other areas, supporting and expanding their knowledge of the world.

More on Philosophy
Physical Play:
Children need physical activity to develop their gross motor (big muscles) and fine motor skill
(small muscles) to learn valuable skills necessary to care for themselves and their environment.
The physical activities are crawling around, walking, running while playing, jumping, climbing, writing, pretend play and more. Physical play is crucial to children’s development.
I Blossom Child Care’s goal is to create activities to help your child achieve their development through order, concentration, coordination, and independence.
Sensor:
Through exploration and discovery, children use their sensor. Young children including infants
need to touch, see, hear, smell, and even taste to learn. I Blossom Child Care has activities
designed to stimulate all children’s senses, while learning with other children to name and
compare these sensory experiences.
Language:
It is our goal to support your child in all areas of developmental - physical, emotional, social,
and cognitive. We will support children in this area by speaking to children respectfully,
listening to their needs, reading books to expand their vocabulary, doing fun activities that will
expand their language and literacy.
Manipulative Play:
Children learn by working with manipulative materials that fully demonstrate what is taking
place in each mathematical process. We have materials in the classroom to support and
develop this area.
Social and Diversity:
Making connections is what real education is all about, and that is why this area of the
curriculum is important for children and families to connect with others.
